This newest WEBTOON contest reminded me of the very first WEBTOON contest I joined with my horror webcomic Here Come The Avalons. It was based on a short sci-fi horror story I wrote in high school for a class. I’m still super proud of it. I hired my friend Ratamo on Bluesky to help with coloring and they did the beautiful backgrounds, as well as the creator of the indie horror game Us Lovely Corpses for the line art. Give it a read if you have time, I’m still really proud of it and it really helped me regain motivation to work on Lavender and taught me how to make a vertical scroll comic
